PRE AND POST CARE INFORMATION
In case you have decided on getting the volumising treatments, it is important for you to know that the side effects of the treatment includes brusising. If not willing to risk getting bruises from the procedure, we advise you to think carefully about when is the most appropriate time for you to come in – we cannot promise that they will not occur. Even when our clinician staff is very experienced, they cannot rule out incidences of bruising entirely.
This treatment is not recommended for pregnant or breast feeding clients. Before the appointment it is best to avoid (if possible) blood thinning medications such as aspirin, non-steroidal anti inflammatory medications, as these have the potential to increase bruising and swelling, we advise no vaccines 2 weeks pre and post treatment.
Avoid rubbing or massaging the injected area for the initial 24 hours following your appointment. Additionally, refrain from applying direct pressure to the area, including sleeping face-down, face massages or facials, avoid exposing the area to extreme temperature changes, engaging in strenuous exercise, prolonged sunlight exposure, or excessive alcohol consumption during the first 24 hours after treatment.
