DERMAPLANING
Dermaplaning is a cosmetic treatment in which dead skin cells and peach fuzz are scraped off with a scalpel. This focusses to remove the top layers of your skin. The procedure aims to reduce fine wrinkles and deep acne scarring, aiding the appearance of smoother skin.
WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT INVOLVE?
Your therapist will cleanse your skin of dirt and oil before using single use surgical blade to gently remove the upmost layer pop skin and skin. After the treatment your therapist will apply a soothing lotion to help with any skin sensitivity.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Due to the nature of the treatment, you only need one treatment to reach desired results, however treatments monthly will assist in maintaining results.
HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?
Usually most people require a maintenance session every four to six weeks following treatment. After this the hair growth is almost back to normal and are ready to be shed again.
WHO CAN HAVE THE TREATMENT?
Most skin types – excluding acne, rosacea, psoriasis and eczema in the treated area.

PRE AND POST CARE INFORMATION
The skin will feel smooth and fresh following the treatment. We advise that you use gentle skincare, and avoid active products including retinol, AHA, and BHA for at least 48 hour following the treatment. After 7 days you may exfoliate the skin and return to your normal skincare routine.
