Gummy Smile Treatment In Sanctuary Cove
Smile and the Whole World Smile with You Not Always!
While smiling and laughing are typically natural and unrestrained for most individuals, some people experience self-consciousness regarding their smiles. This may manifest in concerns about an uneven (“crooked”) smile or the exposure of excessive gingival tissue (“gummy smile”) during broader smiles. Consequently, these individuals might resort to covering their mouths while smiling in social settings.
Smile and the Whole World Smile with You Not Always!
Have you ever considered treating a gummy smile? At our Sanctuary Cove clinic, we offer this procedure, though less common, as it can be one of the most rewarding for our clients. Gummy smiles are caused by an overactive “Elvis muscle,” formally known as the Levator Labii Superioris Alaeque Nasi (LLSAN), which lifts the upper lip slightly too high. With just two to four precise injections of muscle relaxant, we can achieve dramatic results, as seen in the pictures below. Most clients see noticeable improvements within 2-4 days, and it remains one of our most cost-effective treatments.
