Dermaplaning is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a scalpel to remove dead skin cells and peach fuzz by scraping off the top layers of skin. The treatment is designed to reduce fine wrinkles and deep acne scars, promoting a smoother skin appearance.
WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT INVOLVE?
Your therapist will first cleanse your skin to remove dirt and oil before using a single-use surgical blade to gently exfoliate the outermost layer of skin. After the procedure, a soothing lotion will be applied to help alleviate any skin sensitivity.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Due to the nature of the treatment, you only need one treatment to reach desired results, however treatments monthly will assist in maintaining results.
HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?
Usually most people require a maintenance session every four to six weeks following treatment. After this the hair growth is almost back to normal and are ready to be shed again.

Most skin types – excluding acne, rosacea, psoriasis and eczema in the treated area.

Your skin will feel smooth and refreshed after the treatment. We recommend using gentle skincare products and avoiding active ingredients like retinol, AHA, and BHA for at least 48 hours post-treatment. After 7 days, you can resume exfoliating and return to your regular skincare routine.
